    Formula Particulars

I adore this formula for Morning Sandwiches when I need to prep breakfasts for the week. As the components can be effortlessly modified, this meal always remains novel.

    • FLAVOR: Creamy eggs, flavorsome meat, and gentle cheddar cheese make these Morning Sandwiches delightful.
    • CONSISTENCY: This meal is filled with melted cheese, crunchy meat, and airy eggs. Every mouthful is brimming with delectability.
    • TIME: This dish requires 40 minutes to prepare.
    • CONVENIENCE: You can’t locate a simpler or more plain morning meal formula. It employs fundamental ingredients, is simple to make for a group, and can be stored in the freezer.

    What You Will Require

    Ingredient Remarks

    • English muffins- These serve as the bread in this sandwich. You can utilize fresh or frozen (and thawed), or gluten-free.
    • Meats- I utilized bacon, Canadian bacon, and sausage patties for mine.
    • Cheese- Cheddar cheese slices function admirably here as they liquefy well and are of the appropriate size.
    • Eggs- These are scrambled then cooked flat for the perfect size to fit the English muffin.
    • Half & Half- This brings a creamy aspect to the eggs.
    • Butter- The eggs and English muffin take on a scrumptious buttery taste when cooked with this.
    • Seasonings- Salt and Black pepper are all you need.

    Inclusions and Alternatives

    • Utilize different meats- You can adjust this formula with any meat you prefer, including bacon, ham, sausage patties, deli meat, Canadian bacon, Spam, or chicken.
    • Incorporate sauce- Add extra gusto with some hot sauce, ketchup, Copycat Chick-Fil-A Sauce, or Sriracha.
    • Substitute breads- You can also create this with bagels, Buttermilk Biscuits, slices of Sourdough Bread, Brioche Buns, or transform it into a Croissant Morning Sandwich.
    • Add sweetness- Attempt this Morning Sandwich formula with maple syrup or honey. The sweetness is a tasteful contrast to the saltiness of the meat.

How to Construct a Morning Sandwich

    • Mingle the egg mix. In a capacious bowl, blend the eggs, half & half, salt, and pepper. Use a whisk to thoroughly blend.
    • Bake it. Butter the base and sides of a 9 x 13“ baking dish with melted butter and preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake for roughly 18 minutes, or until the eggs are entirely cooked.
    • Cut them out. Cut out the eggs in 3-inch circles. I employed this biscuit cutter.

Pro Tip: When spreading the melted butter, utilize a pastry brush. It makes it significantly easier.

Steps to make Morning Sandwich (3 Variations): whisk the eggs, half & half, salt, and pepper in a bowl and bake it in a pan with butter, then cut out circles.
    • Prep the English muffins. Meanwhile, slice 6 English muffins in half, then place them on a rimmed baking sheet, cut side up. Brush melted butter on top of them. Then broil them for about 2-3 minutes, or until lightly golden and toasted.
Steps to make Morning Sandwich (3 Variations): butter the halves of the English muffins and bake them.
    • Compile. Position the bottom half of the English muffins down, then place one slice of cheddar cheese on top, then your choice of meat, and finally the top slice of the English muffin.
    • Melt the cheese. Heat the sandwiches in the oven at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5-8 minutes to melt the cheese. Alternatively, you can just microwave as many as you prefer to enjoy.
Steps to prepare Morning Sandwich (3 ways): set up the sandwiches with English muffin, eggs, cheddar, and meat on a skillet.

    Formula Hints

    • Grease the egg skillet- This stage is pivotal for preventing the egg from clinging to the skillet and not coming out smoothly. It also contributes a fantastic buttery taste to this Morning Sandwich formula.
    • Carve out the eggs with a biscuit cutter- Utilize a 3-inch round biscuit cutter to carve out the eggs. This is much simpler and the circles are ideal for the size of the bread.
    • Monitor the English muffins as they grill- These can effortlessly sear, so keep a vigilant watch on them so they only turn into a golden brown.
    • Employ sliced cheddar- Sliced cheddar or slices carved from a block will melt better than shredded cheddar.

Storing: Store any leftovers in an airtight container or wrapped in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
